Ricky Rumba Rey is a professional salsa dancer and choreographer from LA who is director of Rumba Rey Dance Company which has been representing LA style Salsa on1 for 25 years. Ricky began his dance journey at age 15, training with Ricardo Rey Campos of Ventura County and training with world-renowned instructors, Francisco and Johnny Vazquez, Eddie Torrez, Seon Stylist, Joby Brava, Mario Castro Rolando Padilla and others. He founded his own dance company by age18 when he began competing at a professional level, has taught and performed at festivals and salsa venues locally, nationwide, and internationally. He also became Stevens Steakhouse L.A.’s Top Male Salsa Champion in 2009. He brings technique, clear explanation, passion for his art, and a contagious energy to his teaching.
