Casino is a Cuban partner dance (commonly referred to as Cuban Salsa). It is danced to Timba music on the same timing as salsa on1, but with different footwork, leads and follows.

Casino can also be danced in a formation of a Rueda (Rueda de Casino = wheel of Casino dancing). In this formation, there is a caller who names the movements that a circle of partners will perform in unison. Some calls will transfer partners around the circle and interact with the entire group so it is a great way to dance with everyone during a single song.

No partner or fancy shoes needed. Come comfortable and as you are. Feel free to Lead or Follow in whatever role you wish to try 🙂
