DRESSY CASUAL DRESS CODE GUIDELINES
To ensure everyone enjoys a stylish and comfortable experience at our events, we have a dressy casual dress code. Here’s what we mean by dressy casual, with some specific guidelines to help you stay cool in the desert heat while looking great:
FOR THE MEN
SHIRTS: Opt for nice t-shirts with simple logos or polo shirts. Avoid cheap ones with lots of writing or graphics. For those prone to sweating, darker shirts are a good choice.
BOTTOMS: Prefer pants like tailored dress pants, chinos, good jeans, or nice shorts. Avoid old, ripped jeans and athletic shorts.
FOOTWEAR: Closed-toe shoes such as loafers, dress shoes, or stylish sneakers are best. Avoid open-toe sandals.
OPTIONAL ADDONS: Consider Adding a seasonal sport coat or blazer with slacks. Ties can compliment the dressy casual look if desired. Nice hats are okay.
FOR THE WOMEN:
DRESSES: Sundresses, cocktail dresses, fashionable dresses, skirts, or dress shorts are perfect for a stylish yet comfortable look. Opt for outfits that allow ease of movement while maintaining a chic appearance.
TOPS: Blouses or nice t-shirts that are cool yet stylish. Avoid overly casual or workout tops.
BOTTOMSs: Choose from skirts, dress shorts, capris, or nice pants. Avoid athletic shorts or leggings.
FOOTWEAR: Comfortable and stylish shoes that are appropriate for dancing. Steer clear of overly casual flip-flops or athletic shoes unless they are newer and clean.
IN GENERAL:
No Workout Clothes: Please avoid gym shoes, workout outfits, or any overly casual athletic wear.
Stay Cool and Stylish: Remember, it’s hot in Phoenix, so breathable fabrics and lighter clothing are encouraged as long as they fit within the dressy casual guidelines.
Comfort is Key: You’ll be dancing, so wear something you can move in comfortably while still looking put together. See less
