☆ SAFETY ☆
Sunset for Dancers is dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable event experience for everyone. We do not tolerate harassment of event participants in any form, in any venue or online space. If you make people uncomfortable or feel unsafe you will be first asked to leave, then sanctioned or banned permanently after an investigation into the incident. Being banned can occur with or without notification.
☆ PERSONAL PROPERTY ☆
Bring the least amount of personal belongings, this event takes place in a public park and if you leave your stuff anywhere to go dance, you do so at your own risk.
☆ HYDRATION ☆
There are no drinks sold at this event and nearest bar or restaurant is a 4 minute walk away. We recommend you bring water to stay hydrated. Dancing in the Sun will make you very thirsty. Lastly, we are in a public park and no drinks in glass bottles or alcoholic drinks are permitted.
☆ TRACTION ☆
The floor that we dance on is a smooth pavement, some of the dances we do involve a lot of turns. Its best to wear a low friction/low grip street shoe. Dance shoes wear out very quickly on this surface. We highly recommend shoes that have all foam soles with no rubber.
Thank you for your enthusiasm, attention and support. We look forward to welcoming everyone again, dancers and non-dancers, locals and tourists, beginners and pros to Sunset for Dancers 2021. Dance with Connection.
