Celebrating Women in Salsa and Bachata!

Reverie Ballroom is proud to support, and highlight, the amazing talents of women Salsa and Bachata DJs in Seattle. Each DJ will play a mix of these genres in rotating sets.

Salsa is a Latin dance influenced by several styles, like mambo and rumba. The dance is characterized by energetic footwork, spins, and turns. We teach On1, which is characterized by a lot of spinning and dancing in a slot (unlike Cuban or Cumbia styles).

Bachata is a Latin dance from the Dominican Republic characterized by sexy body movement, syncopated footwork and free style moves that alternate between closed and open position. We teach both Dominican Style Bachata (footwork & musicality) and Modern Style Bachata (patterns & close embrace).

Age Requirement: All Ages
Price: $10 Lesson | $20 Dance ($5 with a valid student ID for all DJed events)
Beginner Lesson: 8:30pm to 9:30pm with Hallie
Social Dance: 9:30pm to 1:30am
