3:15-4:15pm Overcoming your insecurities on the Dance Floor (Kristian)

Sentimiento Bachata Social (open to general public – $20 admission for non-pass holders)

Sunday May 19
1:00-3:00pm Bachata Fusion Workshop (Andres y Yessica)
3:15-4:15pm Creating your own Signature combos (Kristian)
Level: Intermediate/Advanced Bachata students

Price:
$160 + gst (Includes 6 hours of Workshops and 2 nights of Social dancing – Friday and Saturday) per person.

Please note if you register as a LEAD or FOLLOW for the weekender you may lead and/or follow in the socials if you wish – the pass only designates your role for the workshops.

Level requirement: Please note all workshops are for Intermediate/Advanced level Bachata students who have been actively attending classes and social dancing for at least 6-7 months. All registrants must have a solid understanding of Bachata fundamentals.

Instructors:
Andres & Yessica (BIO):
“Andres & Yessica” are both professional dancers specialized in Bachata and other dance styles. They met working for a professional dance company in Colombia and began working together in 2017. Both have a varied dance background ranging from folk dancing to Bachata, Salsa Cabaret and
Tango.

They have been world champions of two of the most iconic championships in the history of the Bachata dance genre in Europe: Bachatart Fusion World Championship & Bachata Open. In their style “Sentimiento Bachata” they mix the best out of Authentic Bachata, Bachata-zouk and Modern Bachata. They love performing live, teaching others and sharing their style around the world, adding a different perspective to the current Bachata scene. At the same time, they are constantly learning from the best dance instructors in the world.

Get ready for some romantic, authentic and sensual combinations, crazy footwork and above all – some really good times!

Kristian Stephan-Martin (BIO):

Based on the Gold Coast, Australia, Kristian is an International Bachata Sensual instructor, and leadership and embodiment coach.

He spends time in Spain each year learning from their top teachers, and is certified by Korke and Judith. Kristian brings concepts from his coaching work into bachata, helping dancers to find greater presence, connection, creativity, confidence, feeling, and flow.

His signature workshop ‘Letting Go Of Your Insecurities On The Dance Floor’ has been run in Australia, London and LA, and has been described as “dance life changing” and “something every dancer in the world should do.”
